The threat of severe weather is over this Thursday morning. Dry air is now moving into the state from the west. That will mean mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 70s. Tonight a few scattered showers will develop as cold air begins to head our way. The low temperature on Friday morning will fall back to 51 in Jackson.
