Tonight temperatures will drop below freezing just after sunset and stay there until almost mid day Tuesday. A Hard Freeze Warning is in effect for north Mississippi. The low temperature in Jackson Tuesday morning will be 19 degrees. The record low of December 14th in Jackson is 18 degrees set back in 1898, 1917 and 1958. With another day of full sunshine expected Tuesday the high temperature will warm into the mid 40s. Winds will start to come in from the south tomorrow helping temperatures to warm up a bit more late in the day.
