Overnight the low temperature will drop to 45 degrees in Jackson, much warmer than the past few nights thanks to cloud cover and a south breeze. During the day Saturday we will see mostly cloudy skies and winds increasing from the south. There could be a passing shower, but most of the rain will hold off until after the sun goes down. The high temperature Saturday will be around 65 degrees. A strong cold front will push through during the evening hours. A few thunderstorms may develop ahead of the front with gusty winds. The threat of severe weather is guarded for Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
