The Madison County Chamber of Commerce held its Third Annual Dragon Boat Regatta.
Thirty teams competed in the competition and each team is comprised of twenty paddlers inside a forty foot long boat.
I competed in the race and was part of team Kanawanalai'a. We finished 6th out of thirty teams but did win best team name. I had a lot of fun competing in the event.
Last year only 19 teams competed and it appears it will just get bigger and bigger each year.
