Andrewan Owens, a senior at Crystal Springs High School, has been chosen to represent Mississippi in Puerto Rico in a Baseball Amateur Talent Search.
There will be instructional workshops, as well as baseball games against Puerto Rican teams.
Andrewan is one of sixteen student athletes to represent the United States. The Georgetown native is the only player selected from Mississippi, as well as the only player selected in the enitre Southeast.
