Mississippi State came close to shocking the nation Saturday night but came up on the short end of a 29-19 loss to then number two Florida.
"For some reason we can't wrap up it up. We cant't get over the top. I don't know what it is. The only thing I can do is forget about it and get ready for practice tomorrow," said senior running back Anthony Dixon.
The Terry native had fifty-three rushing yards on just fifteen attempts. Dixon also had three receptions for twenty-one yards. "I wish I could have done more for my team. I wish I would have had more opportunities. I was out there fighting, giving it a hundred ten percent. I thought my teammates were doing the same thing," said Dixon.
