Tigers to hold JSU Basketball Madness Thursday

Madness will be first chance for fans to check out both basketball teams.

The Jackson State men's and women's basketball programs will hold "JSU Basketball Madness - A Night of Champions" at 6:30 p.m. at the Lee E. Williams Athletics and Assembly Center on Thursday, Oct. 22.

The event will be the first opportunity for JSU basketball fans to see the 2009-10 Tiger and Lady Tiger teams. Both teams will have inter-squad scrimmages. There will be a slam dunk contest and a three-point shooting contest. The Sonic Boom of the South will play and the prancing J-Settes will dance. The greek letter organizations will perform and the mascot and Baby Tigers will entertain the crowd.

The Tigers will accept two canned good for admission, in support of the Stew Pot and Hope House. For more information contact Jerry Lewis at 601-979-6943.
