The Mississippi College Choctaws (5-1, 4-0 ASC) moved into the D3football.com Top 25 poll this week, debuting at #15 in the country after a 17-14 win over 3rd-ranked University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (6-1, 4-1 ASC) Saturday in Robinson-Hale Stadium.
The Choctaws handed UMHB their first loss in the American Southwest Conference since the 2005 season. UMHB had won 33 straight ASC contests and ten straight against the Choctaws dating back to 1998 before the loss Saturday.
The Choctaws hit the road this weekend travelling to Marshall, TX to face East Texas Baptist University. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
