Hillcrest Christian took a 1-0 series lead into Thursday's games against Magnolia Heights.
Magnolia Heights tied up the series with a 1-0 Game 2 win in the afternoon.
In Game 3, Hillcrest Christian took a 7-4 lead into the seventh and final inning. But Magnolia Heights rallied to score three runs in the inning to tie the game.
The Chiefs added a run in extra innings, and held off the Cougars in the bottom of the eighth to capture the MPSA AAA Div. II Championship.
