A statewide bass tournament will be held at the Ross Barnett Reservoir in April with thousands of dollars worth of cash prizes awarded to the top ten finishers.

The Rankin County Benevolence Group, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, will be hosting the “First Annual” Partners For HOPE.

Tournament director Jerry Mowdy said, “The money raised will go to benefit the low-income and needy in the central Mississippi area. There are so many people who are hurting right now because of the
economy. The people of Mississippi have always given from their heart to those in need; I know we will continue to do so because we are all hurting together in this economy. Our group works with
government agencies, local churches, and private foundations to identify needs and then provide resources to meet those needs. By “Providing Hope with a Hand Up” people look forward to the future.”

· 1st prize payout will be $4000.00

· 2nd will be $1250.00

· 3rd will be $ 600.00

Big Bass will be Guaranteed at: 1st--$300, 2nd--$150, 3rd--$50

Free Food will be provided for each angler.

There will be a Special Entry Fee for all “Ladies Team” and “Couples Team” boat.
