US Attorney Announces Public Corruption Arrests

Update:  News Channel 12 has learned that two JPD officers have been arrested by the Feds on corruption charges.

Authorities have confirmed that Monyette Jefferson and Terence Jenkins are being held at the Madison County Jail.

JPD is not commenting and referring all questions to Federal officials.

U.S. Attorney John Dowdy and FBI Special Agent in Charge, Daniel McMullen, will conduct a press conference today at 3:30 p.m. regarding significant public corruption arrests made in Jackson.
