»  Comments | Post a Comment

Company leaders at LeTourneau Technologies in Warren County say they are having to temporarily lay off 2/3 of their workforce because of rising flood waters.

They say they plan to rehire the employees within the next two months. The company builds offshore oil rigs. Workers now have to check-in at the plant and travel by boat to their work site. The trip takes about three minutes. Also, workers have to move heavy equipment to higher ground to prevent water damage.
