Family Driving Challenge Comes To Jackson, Allstate Sponsors Event

According to the Allstate Teen Driving Hotspots Study, Mississippi ranks number one nationwide for the highest number of fatal accidents involving teen drivers per capita by state.

To help save lives, Allstate Insurance is partnering with the Hinds County Sheriff's Department and the Jackson Metro Public Schools to bring the Family Driving Challenge to the Mississippi State Fairgrounds on Thursday, August 9th from 4:00P.M. - 7:00P.M.

While teens may think it will be cool to drive on an obstacle course with bright orange cones, they'll also get a powerful lesson about the sometimes tragic consequences of distracted driving.
Local teens and their parents will drive through the course, trying to avoid cones and focus on the road, while learning together the dangers of driving distracted.
