P.A.N.D.A.S. disorder
It stands for Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder Associated with Strep.
What happens is, the child contracts strep throat, and instead of attacking the strep, the body attacks the brain of the child.
The child could began having verbal and motor "tics", irrational fears, OCD behavior, outbursts of crying, insomnia, clinginess, etc.
There is no cure for P.A.N.D.A.S., since it is an autoimmune disorder. (Doctors also think it is a "relative" of autism,tourettes and other illnesses.)
PEPSI is giving away over $1 million dollars in grant money to help find solutions/cures to different things.
A group of parents whose children suffer from PA.N.D.A.S., put in a story and application and we were chosen out of thousands of other applicants, to "compete" for a grant worth $50,000.00.
This money will go to a top doctor who studies P.A.N.D.A.S. disorder.
The money will go towards finding a cure one day.
In order to win the money, the P.A.N.D.A.S. group must have the most votes in their ategory.
