The storms will develop along and ahead of a cold front now pushing through Texas. The line of severe storms, called a squall line, will likely contain damaging winds, large hail (up to golf ball in size) and tornadoes when it arrives in Mississippi around sunset. The storms will slowly push through our area from west to east during the evening and overnight hours. Expect a tornado watch to be issued for part of the state by late Wednesday afternoon. Stay tuned to NewsChannel 12 for updates from our Storm Team.
