JPS Students and Staff Helping With Hati Relief

Jackson Public Schools students and staff are supporting relief efforts in Haiti through a variety of projects in February.

Jackson Public Schools students and staff are supporting relief efforts in Haiti through a variety of projects in February. Johnson Elementary, located at 1339 Oakpark Drive, will have a Hip-Hop for Haiti fundraiser today, February 5, at 12:30 p.m. Students will be encouraged to support this event by donating $1 to Haiti relief. In addition, students and staff have collected shoes in a campaign entitled, "Old Soles 2 New Soles," and are awaiting their donations to be picked up by the American Red Cross.
