Friday is the deadline for donations to the Toys for Tots program. Collections are way behind this year and the Marine Corps hopes many of you will step up and give.
Right now organizers say 17,000 toys have been donated to serve thousands children across central Mississippi. But they need more than 40,000 to meet their goal of 60,000. At Jackson’s Marine Corp Reserve office they are begging for donations. “If you can find in your heart please come out and give a toy,” said 1st Sergeant Seth Miller. The toys are scheduled to be distributed to the children Saturday. To donate, you can drop off toys at any Wal-Mart, Walgreens or Sonic drive-in.
