Carla Hughes is back in court this morning for a motions hearing. It's taking place at the Madison County Circuit Court. A judge has denied all motions by the defense. A jury found Hughes guilty of two counts of capital murder in October 2009. She is now serving life in prison. Hughes is serving time for the death of Avis Banks and her unborn baby. Banks was found shot and stabbed in the garage of her home in Ridgeland in November of 2006. We will have a live report on News Channel 12 at Noon.
