Rankin County school district employees are moving in to their new central office building.
The Brandon building cost tax payers millions.
Price tag for the project is $9 million.
The two-story building, which covers 27-thousand square feet, has been under construction for 18 months.
A total 38 district employees will work in the building, including Superintendent Dr. Lynn Weathersby and his deputies.
Assistant Superintendent Hugh Carr says the new space means they no longer have to drive to Jackson or Pearl for important meetings with administrators and teachers.
