Roll Off Dumpster Day

The City of Jackson's Solid Waste Division encourages local residents to take advantage of Roll-Off Dumpster Day this Saturday, September 12, 2009, by disposing of household rubbish and yard debris at one of the following locations between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weather permitting:

· Ward 1 Ridgewood Place (west off Ridgewood Road, 2 blocks south of County Line)
· Ward 2 Tougaloo Community Center, 318 Vine Street
· Ward 3 JPS Enochs Complex, 101 Near Street
· Ward 4 Raines Park, 5206 Clinton Boulevard (in parking lot off Flag Chapel)
· Ward 5 Wilson Boulevard (1700 block, north off Raymond Road)
· Ward 6 Sykes Community Center, 520 Sykes Road
· Ward 7 Midtown Park @ Fairbanks & Mill Street

Participants are asked to place debris inside the dumpsters provided at these locations. Residents should NOT bring tires, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, chemicals or gas tanks to the roll-off dumpster sites, as these items will not be accepted.

Private businesses and persons residing outside the City of Jackson are not eligible to participate. Proof of residency may be required.
