Judge allows Hughes' recorded statement to police to be played in court. Hughes made the statement to police in December of 2006. Hughes's murder trial is underway in Canton, Mississippi. Hughes is accused of stabbing and shooting Avis Banks and her unborn baby. Banks was murdered outside her Ridgeland, Mississippi home in November 2006.
