Jackson Resident On Watch to Stop Neighborhood Crime

»  Comments | Post a Comment

It's a neighborhood that feels more out of a movie set then a city, but Robyn Farber didn't like what she saw on Friday morning.
Farber watched out her kitchen window as a man scoped our her neighbor's home, looking through its windows and going into the open garage. After a call to Jackson Police, Farber feels its the same man that's committed several robberies in broad daylight in recent weeks.
"I felt like I was over reacting at first, but when the police told me this is what this guy does, I knew I did the right thing," Farber said.
Although the suspect did not break in to her neighbor's home, she still hopes this a wake up call for everyone in the area.
"We need to take this seriously, lock our doors and set our alarms if we have them," she said. "Our neighborhood association has been very active in helping prevent this."
"But we can't do too much, so we've just got be good neighbors and keep a watch out for each other."
