The shelter is trying to win $20,000 in the Shelter Challenge. There are also other cash prizes for the top shelters. Right now, the shelter is taking care of more than 350 cats and dogs. Many were dropped off there because owners can't afford to take care of them anymore. Thousands of shelters are participating in the challenge. The challenge ends on July 26th.
