King Edward Hotel Ready For Business

The reopening of downtown Jackson's historic King Edward hotel is just days away.
A host of dignitaries will join Mayor Johnson Thursday morning for the official ribbon-cutting.
We know now it will be run by a national hotel chain and is being called the Hilton Garden Inn.
Front desk clerks started taking reservations Tuesday afternoon.
In addition to 186 hotel rooms, there are 64 luxury apartments are on the top three floors.
There's also a restaurant and a bar in the building.
A Seattle's Best coffee shop franchise is expected to open on the ground floor in the first week of January.
The three year renovation project cost $90 million.
