»  Comments | Post a Comment

Jackson police arrest a Jackson Public Schools employee found in a car with a minor.
Authorities say 30 year-old Icree McGee is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and is accused of false pretense.
Police say they found McGee with the teen last Monday around 1:15 in the morning.
The teen is a 13 years old boy, who’s not related to McGee, according to police.
While officials won't confirm or deny whether McGee works for the district, but according the Chastain Middle School website, someone with the same first initial and last name teaches seventh
grade language arts there.
That fact left Chastain parents upset.
“First of all, my son is 13 years of age and he's in her class if this is the same teacher of course I'm furious,” said Lisa Williams.
“I'm guessing it's unsubstantiated, but I'm ready to hear what the results are gonna be,” said Petril Colter.
