Three men are taken to Jackson hospitals after being shot late last night. It happened around 11:00 on Combs Street. That's off Belvedere Drive in south Jackson. Investigators say the first shooting happened after a fight. Dwayne Evans was shot in the leg. They say after he was shot-- Evans got a gun and opened fire. 33-year-old Demetrius Newell was hit in the stomach and 31-year-old Charles Sheppard was shot in the leg. Evans has been treated and released-- while Newell and Sheppard are still in local hospitals. Police say charges could be filed once they are able to question each man about what happened.
