This is the third study for the American Cancer Society. The first two were conducted in the 50's and 70's.
The study gathers residents from across the nation, and studies them for 20 to 30 years.
To particpate, you must be at least 30 years old, and never have been diagnosed with cancer.
The American Cancer society says studies like these help them find what contributes to cancer.
Enrollement will begin in March.
