We, the 6th grade class of Mrs. LaShonda Keyes-Smith of Vicksburg Intermediate School, are excited about taking the "Living Healthier Lives" Challenge. As a matter of fact, we have already begun our challenge. Our teacher, Mrs. Keyes-Smith, lets us do Taebo twenty to thirty minutes a day, three days a week. We enjoy it because it's not your normal, boring exercises. She challenges us to keep up with her. And of course we do. We can't let her out-do us.

As a class, we discussed what we could do to live healthier lives. We came up with exercise, eating more fruits and vegetables, and drink more water and less soda. The more we discussed our topic, we realized that living a healthier life is just starting with small changes. These small healthier changes could help our bodies fight big illnesses and deadly diseases.

We want our great state of Mississippi to be recognize by something else other than being the fattest state in America.
We are starting with our class and would like other students to join us. We are asking students to add more activity to their lives. Put down the playstations, turn off the TV, do some chores, and "LET'S GO WALKING MISSISSIPPI".
