In class this year, we have talked about many ways we can be healthier. These include eating more fruits and vegetables, drinking more water and less soda, eating less candy and making sure we exercise. We talked about at lunch sometimes we just want to eat the tater tots or the sweet treat when we get one and not eat the healthy vegetables on our tray.
Our class has come up with a challenge. We are going to challenge ourselves to eat the fruits and vegetables on our tray first. We are also going to try to drink the plain white milk rather than chocolate milk, because the white milk has less sugar in it than the chocolate milk.
We know our challenge may be hard when there are new vegetables on our tray we have never tried or ones we do not like. However, we are trying to do little things that will make sure we are living a healthier life!
