One nutritional way to become healthier is to get rid of cookies, chips, ice cream, etc. in the cafeteria at school. For example, avoiding or not buying extra “junk” will help you avoid temptation. We can talk to the principal, the cafeteria manager, and Mr. Kent about changing meals that have grease to non-greasy foods. Replacing cookies, chips, and ice cream with the healthier, low fat, low calorie version will make it a healthy, safe choice to eat. Now here are some ways to do this.
Avoid or don’t buy extra “junk”. When you buy extra “junk”, you are wasting money on useless items. Eating cookies, chips, and ice cream is consuming tons of fat and calories. Most of these items contain absolutely nothing nutritional. It is better to avoid them than to eat them.
We should talk to the principal, cafeteria manager, and Mr. Kent about changing the meals. The cafeteria should stop frying foods and start baking them. Food should also have less grease in it or none at all. Instead of having these greasy, fried, fatty foods, we should have lots of vegetables. Most fatty foods could easily be replaced by vegetables.
When we get rid of cookies, chips, ice cream, etc. in the cafeteria, we will have a healthier student body. We should replace all the junk foods with a a healthier, low calorie version. If we follow these simple ideas we will see a dramatic and healthy change in our school’s student body.
