Trial of the Big Bad Wolf Auditions

The Center Players Community Theatre and First Baptist Church of Ridgeland will hold audtions for Trial of the Big Bad Wolf Monday and Tuesday, September 14th and 15th.

On Monday September 14th the auditions will be held at Northpark Mall. Sign in at Center Court at 6:30pm. Auditions will then be held in a private roomin the mall.

A second round of auditions will be held at First Baptist Church of Ridgeland on Tuesday, September 15th at 6:30pm. The church is located at 302 West Jackson Street in Ridgeland.

There are 22 roles for both males and females in this show. All parts will be filled with students. Children in grades 5 through 9 are encouraged to audition. The audition is a cold read from the script. Head shots are not required but may
be helpful. The show is being directed by Kathryn Dawkins. Show dates will be October 23rd, 24th and 25th at First Baptist Church of Ridgeland.

Members of the press: Reporter, Newscaster, and Town Crier A Court Official: the clerk the Plaintiffs: 3 Pigs (Amadeus or Amelia, Marcellus or Myrtle Mae, Bartholomew or Barbara Sue Pig) the Defendant: Wallington Wellington Wolf the third or Winifred Wellington Members of the Jury: Little Miss Muffet, Little Red Riding Hood, Old King Cole, Jack, Jill, Mistress Mary, Little Bo Peep, Jack Sprat, Mrs. Sprat, Tom, Tom the pipers son, Humpty Dumpty, Cinderella The Judge: Wise O. Al or Wise O. Alice Surprise witness: a girl (cheerleader)

About the show:
The Wolf: villain or victim? The Three Pigs: innocent or at fault? The cast will consist of 22 children who will play the beloved characters of the wolf, the pigs, the judge, and jurors. Trial of the Big Bad Wolf deals with questions of guilt and innocence from many different points of view. It comes up with a surprising, yet eminently satisfying, conclusion in which no one escapes unscathed. And, as a bonus, a lesson or two is learned along the way. It is a true ensemble piece with delightful comedy and an intriguing story line. This one is sure to delight audiences of all ages.
