Showers and thunderstorms could approach the area in the overnight, bringing a slightly cooler start to the week.An approaching cold front will help bring an increased chance of rain in the overnight hours and into the first half of Monday. The best of focus of wet weather will sit along I-20 and south. Some localized spots could see well over one inch by midday Monday. Along with the rainfall, clouds will keep temperatures in the middle 80s during the afternoon. Enjoy the break from the heat, we’ll return to the lower 90s by Tuesday.
