Jack will caddy for his son Heath during the Viking Classic.Jack Slocum is a golf pro at the Vicksburg Country Coutry Club but this week he is a caddy for his son Heath at the Viking Classic.
Jack says he doesn’t get to spend a lot of time with Heath during the golf season so he is going to enjoy the time they will have together on the course. Heath doesn’t like to get a lot of advice when he is playing so Jack says they talk a lot about hunting cooking and Heath’s family.
Heath has a good a shot at winning the tournament, afterall he won the event in 2005. Slocum is currently #31 on the PGA Tour’s money list. Jack says as he text his son a simple message on Friday, “Fairways and Green.“ Jack says he if he hits more fairways and greens than the rest of the field, he thinks Heath has a real good chance of winning.
