Quarterback Gabriel Gray handles the signal calling and then he says he looks for either Leviticus Cain or Chris Perkins.
Cain is bruising type runner who loves to run through people and his style has earned him the nickname “The Bus.” Cain is also a star on defense averaging almost twelve tackles a game, but the man they call “The Bus” prefers to deliver the hits as a runner. “I can feel a chill go through my body when they touch me and I know I’m gonna go through them. I just feel a chill in my body and keep running,” says Cain.
The Bus is not the only running threat on this team, that’s where Gray comes in.
“You see he the bus. I’m the speed guy. I like to run past them. Like boom and bam,“ says Gray.
When the Indians aren’t running, Gray hooks up with receiver Chris Perkins.
“Six-six can’t nobody hold him. It’s easy its like playing madden throwing it to randy moss,“ says Gray.
Perkins says all Gray has to do is throw it in his direction and he’ll make the play. “When its up in the air, I let any db know its mine and i feel like there’s not a db out there that can stop me.“
Perkins performance has also been catching the attention of LSU, Mississippi State and Miami to name a few. If Perkins has some big games in the playoffs the lit could grow, but that first round matchup won’t be easy. Perkins and the Indians face 8-1 Forest.
