Mississippi State To Host Alcorn State in 2010

The Bulldogs have finalized their 2010 football schedule, with the final addition being an Alcorn State-MSU game on October 2.

We are excited to announce that we have signed contracts in hand and are prepared to announce our 2010 football schedule, barring any unforeseen changes for television:

9/25         GEORGIA
10/2         ALCORN STATE
10/9         at Houston
10/16       at Florida
10/23       UAB
10/30       KENTUCKY
11/13       at Alabama
11/20       ARKANSAS
11/27       at Ole Miss

We are certainly pleased to be able to add another in-state opponent to our football schedule (Alcorn State).  In order to do that, we had to make a scheduling switch from our previously announced 2010 tentative schedule.  On that schedule, the Oct. 23 date was open and awaiting an FCS opponent, and UAB was scheduled for Oct. 2.  We appreciate UAB working with us to complete the ‘10 schedule.
