Forward Kodi Augustus:

Opening Comments…
“On Friday I was frustrated because we lost our season opener. I made some immature comments and I would like to apologize to my coaches, teammates and fans and promise that it will never happen again.”

On his apology to the team…
“I talked with the team and apologized to them. It was immature and I need to grow up and make sure it never happens again. My teammates supported me because we were all frustrated about the loss. I accept my punishment and for the next two games I will be their number-one fan. ”

Forward/Center Jarvis Varnado

On Kodi Augustus’ apology…
“It is done with. Coach (Stansbury) talked to Kodi and he knows he was wrong. He (Augustus) apologized and now it is time to move on. I know he was frustrated because of us losing our opener.”

On the depth for the next two games…
“We have to move on with what we have for our next game. We know how we lost the game against Rider and we are trying to improve on the defensive end.”

On team chemistry…
“There are no team chemistry issues, no bad blood in the locker room. Friday night was all frustration and we are all fine as teammates.”

On Southeastern Louisiana…
“I have not seen a scouting report yet, but we have to do what we do best and that is play defense. If we do that well we will be successful.”

On the block-shot record…
“The records are not on my mind at all. I am focused on us getting better and winning games. That is what matters to me and my teammates.”

Don’t apologize, your a big mouth thug , pack your bags and leave. Your a distraction to the team, just leave, we can give your scholorship to someone who needs it. Education is not what you need.
