Jackson State Extends Braddy’s Contract

Jackson State University has extended Athletics Director Robert Braddy’s contract through June 30, 2010.

“I’m excited about serving the university and looking forward to another successful year in athletics,“ said Braddy.

During his tenure as Director of Athletics, the Tigers have had great success. JSU has won the Southwestern Athletic Conference Dr. James Frank Commissioner’s Cup Award for all-sports competition three consecutive years. In 2000, Braddy served as interim AD and the Tigers won the conference award. Also, JSU football, men’s and women’s basketball, women’s tennis, men’s and women’s golf and women’s indoor and outdoor track and field, have won conference championships under Braddy.
