Prosecutors Want Melton’s Bond Revoked

Federal prosecutors won’t Jackson Mayor Frank Melton’s bond revoked. They claim that Melton tried to serve a subpoena to Evans Welch. Welch was a tenant in the home when the mayor and his bodyguards allegedly damaged the home. Prosecutors also claim that Melton had contact with Michale Taylor a couple of weeks ago. Taylor is suspected of being at the home when the damage occured. He was also called to testify in the trial today. Prosecutors claim that Taylor’s testimony has changed since they last spoke with him.
