Polls Close In Runoff Elections
Mayoral, city council and city alderman candidates await results of today’s runoff elections. There are seats up for grabs in Ridgeland, Canton, Pearl, Brandon and Jackson. Many people are closely watching the Jackson Mayoral race. Democrats Marshand Crisler and Harvey Johnson are vying to succeed Mayor Frank Melton.
