Remember my tax paying dollars pay for those schools as well. Its not wanting segregation its what our schools have earned, Not too long ago Ole Miss & MS didn’t even want blacks at their colleges. If you look at their enrollment both are more than 85% white students. This has nothing to do with education just good old fashion ways of the south. Not wanting to change nor recognize that racism is only living where you want to keep the fire burning. You didnt pay for my education nor did loans I had parents who did. Your tax dollars pay for the prisons, medicaid, medicare and much more that has nothing to do with education. I don’t mind funding education nor healthcare as long as everyone get what they need.

HBCU’S, Man I hate that my tax money is funding segregation. I though the NAACP was against this. I don’t hear the officials at OM, USM, MSU, DSU refering to their schools as historical white schools, (just schools.) Every time an official at Alcorn, JSU MVSU opens his mouth, thats the first thing out of it. You either want segregation or you don’t, make up your mind and lets move on.

I’m concern that our Governor Haley Barbour is trying to take a quick way out and my University Alcorn State which I gladly received a degree from in 2000 will suffer. He refused giving the unemployed an increase other than 25 dollars which keep us as one of the lowest paid states for unemployment.(just the facts) Now, he think we will allow him to throw all our HBCU’s in MS together I want stand for it. We must pay attention, ask questions, and please get INVOLVED. I will join in the conference call tonight please join me.

I think that Barber is trying to do something that will give him a big name and get him browny points with the big heads so he can move up in the political world,so if he is going to hurt anyone you all no its going to be the black community.
