The Jags are on the move when quarterback Peyton Johnson throws one over the middle to Josh Crowder...Former Hinds County District Attorney Faye Peterson says the jury imposed a life sentence in Carla Hughes capital murder case because some may have been sympathetic to the young, attractive former teacher with a master’s degree. Peterson says it’s not fair, but because of perceptions, pretty people don’t get the death penalty.

Over the entire history of the United States women have rarely received the death penalty for ANY offense.

Now, do not put this beast in the same category as everyone else locked. That is about the only thing they have in common is that they are locked up. This fool had 2 masters degrees and from all accounts led a priviledged life. She is insane.
I don’t know what’s wrong with these people that making these comments. Their acting like Carla is the only person that’s locked up. There’s alot of people who have killed people, drug dealers, in others words, there’s alot of people on the streets that should be locked up. It’s probaly somebody they know, or probaly somebody in obrynb10 & Mary family that should be. I bet they don’t make a deal about that.

We don’t need people like Carla living next to or sisters or mothers. Who knows when see will flip out the next time. She could be jealous because your sister got a new car. Who knows how freaks like her would act. Well it is good that she is behind bars and must spend the rest of her life there. We can all thank GOD we have this freak off the street
