State Escaped Inmates Captured

The three state inmates who today escaped along with five other county inmates from the Marion/Walthall Correctional Facility have been captured.  Authorities had been searching for state inmates DAVID L. JOHNSON, MICKAH S. LOTT, and TONY T. CLARK who escaped from the facility at approximately 3:00 a.m. today. Clark was captured near Lumberton, Mississippi and Johnson and Lott were captured this afternoon in Pulaski County, Arkansas. JOHNSON is serving an 8-year sentence from Marion County for a Grand Larceny conviction, LOTT is serving a LIFE sentence from Simpson County for a Homicide conviction and CLARK is serving a conviction from Lamar County for Possession of Cocaine. They will be transported to the Mississippi State Penitentiary in Parchman, Mississippi.  Each escapee now faces an additional 5-year sentence for escape.
