Entergy is making it easier for customers to same on their energy bills this winter.
The power company is giving away 20,000 weatherization kits.
The kits available on first come first serve to residential and small business customers throughout Entergy’s 45-county Mississippi service area .
Mara Hartmann of Entergy says the kits are a pilot program aimed at helping consumers save money and use less energy in the winter and year round.
“We want our customers to know saving money on your energy bill does have to be expensive and it doesn’t have to be difficult,” Hartmann says.

This is much better than just turning off the lights when you leave the room. I have electric air conditioning and gas heat. But weatherization helps with both of those. My gas bill will be lower by sealing up leaks as well, which is good news this winter.
