Photos Show Conditions Inside Pearl Home Where Boy, 30 Animals Lived

  Pearl Police release pictures that show the conditions inside a home where investigators say a husband and wife kept dozens of cats and dogs in filthy conditions. They also say man’s 3 year old son lived there. Authorities removed the boy and the animals.
  64 year old Bennie Keyes and his 56 year old wife Paula remain behind bars. They face more than a hundred charges including child neglect and animal abuse. A judge has ordered psychological evaluations on each of them. Police raided the Keyes home earlier this month which they called filthy and unsanitary.
  Animal Control officers took away 31 dogs and cats. They had to euthanize most of them. Bennie Keyes’ 3 year old son is in the custody of the Department of Human Services.
