A Wisconsin man arrested in Lincoln County for making Internet threats against then President-Elect Barack Obama receives a three year prison sentence. Steven Christopher will also have to serve two years probation once he’s out.
In August Christopher pleaded guilty to threatening to assassinate Obama. He also claimed to be the second coming of Jesus Christ and claimed that much of the world would come to an end in 2012.
Federal authorities arrested him in January at a home in Brookhaven. In addition to the threats Christopher had many YouTube postings expressing his views politics, race relations and science.
