Dr. Andrea Scott is pushing for better security after she was shot during a robbery on campus.Published: March 9, 2010
The Jackson State University Professor shot while leaving work is now trying to improve campus security. Doctor Andrea Scott was shot last month while walking to her car from the chemistry department. She was shot twice in the back of the head after being robbed of just five dollars. Doctor Scott still has more surgery and months of recovery but is now working with the school to raise money to improve campus security. Doctor Scott and JSU have started a foundation called JSU Development Foundation Campus Safety Fund. If you would like to make a donation you can send a check to the JSU Campus Safety Fund P.O. Dr Scott, you can improve your security by not going back to work at this school. The city has poured millions into the security of the City of Jackson and you see what we have. Why do you think it will ever change. Stay away, to many thugs running loose.
