OCEAN SRINGS, Miss. (AP) - Four people have been arrested after authorities found a methamphetamine lab at an Ocean Springs home that was also used as a day care center.
Curtis Spiers with the Narcotics Task Force of Jackson County says Mark Sumrall has been charged with manufacturing meth.
Spiers says authorities found three inactive meth labs on Tuesday and chemicals to make meth at the home.
Spiers says Sumrall, Alfred Henry Sumrall, Brenda Jane Sumrall, and Carolyn Annette Agodkin have been charged each with nine counts of felony child endangerment.
Spiers says eight children were being taken care of at the day care.
Spiers says a ninth child, belonging to Sumrall, was the only one present at the time of the search. The child has been turned over to welfare officials.
