JPS Breaks Ground for New Classrooms

JPS is adding classrooms and a new sports facility to one of their high schools. A groundbreaking ceremony was held this morning at Forest Hill High School. They’re getting 12 additional classrooms and a new athletic field house with a concession stand and restrooms. The construction is being funded by the $150-million dollar school bond referendum that was approved by voters in November 2006.
