Murder In Jefferson Davis County Under Investigation
Jefferson Davis County authorities are investigating the murder of a 19 year old man, gunned down at apartment complex Monday. He was killed shortly before three at the Bassfield Apartments in Bassfield.
Investigators say the victim is Preston Brown of Bassfield. They believe an argument lead to the shooting. Sheriff’s deputies say they have a good idea who was involved in the shooting although they haven’t yet made any arrests.
