Jury Deliberating the Fate of Carla Hughes

She was found guilty on both counts. This is not a time to rejoice, but a time to pray! Pray for all those involved, including Keyon!!

when you put your comments out, you should expect rebuttal! If you don’t want anyone to directly respond to you or anything you have to say, then you should not post anything! It’s quite that simple! the ignorance displayed is on your behalf, because anyone with common sense would know that when you give YOUR opinion, you should expect someone to give theirs as well! So sorry you can’t accept REBUTTAL! And you put the piece out there about your fiance, I didn’t, i just commented on what you spoke of! You don’t see the judge nor the jury on this blog commenting do you? They are within the scope of their rights to judge the case as it is given to them! You on the other hand, maybe they should have selected you for jury duty since you seem to know more facts than the public, judge, and jury! I have been watching this trial myself. And I must agree with Jeanne225. First, none of has a right to judge Carla nor Keyon Pittman. There is only ONE that knows exactly what happened and who is responsible for Ms. Bank’s death, and that is God Almighty. We are so quick to judge based on what we hear, however, sometimes TRUTH is stranger than fiction! There are a few facts to this story. One, had Keyon never been doing what he was doing, maybe Ms. Banks would still be alive. Two, It is a terrible tragedy that an innocent person and a precious unborn baby had to die in such a greusome crime. Third, regardless of the opionions any of you have about this woman or man, God WILL hold you accountable for your judgements on both of them. He loves Carla and Keyon the same way that he loves each and every one of us, REGARDLESS of what we say, or do on this earth. If we ask for forgiveness, he is FAITHFUL AND JUST to forgive us ALL! Now, to comment on the posting by justQQn, ok, you have a degree in Forensic Science? And that means what to this case and this trial????? Did you examine any of the evidence?? So the fact that you have a degree in Forensic Science has no bearing or weight on anything going on with this case! You can’t prove someone’s guilt or innocence just b/c u hold a degree in forensic science! I hava a Masters in Criminology, but can I rightfully say that this woman is guilty? NOPE! That’s not my call nor is it my place! And as for your fiance with the deranged other-woman, seems like maybe you should have re-evaluated if and why you were engaged to him! You are a woman yourself, so wouldn’t you think he was probably still leading her on as well? But probably not b/c you had the ring, right???? LOL! If someone did all of that to you and you still thought it was cool to remain his fiance, hummmm, that doesn’t seen too smart for an intelligent woman such as yourself with a degree in forensic science!!! Emotions can make sane individuals do insane things. And if many of us are not careful, someone may find themselves in Carla’s shoes or worse one day. It would be a shame to end up in a situation similar to Carla and have to ask God to forgive you for the judgements you passed on someone else and now that you are in the same boat, you wish everyone would believe that you were innocent and to have mercy on you! Think about things you say about people that you know NOTHING about and speaking on events that you were not there to witness!

I believe that Carla is GUILTY.  I have a Degree in Forensic Science.  I do believe Carla emotions took over her.  I think she decided to confront Avis and it didn’t go as she planned. Avis was angry at Carla and they argued.  Carla killed her. Carla then stage the scene as a break in.  I worked for a cell phone company while in school(technical support) and I know how towers track calls. She was in the area.  Keyon was not.  People… Keyon is NOT on trial, CARLA IS!!!!! No, I am not his jump off and never knew the guy like that!!!! He did a horrible thing, but be honest he has not done anything any other man hasn’t done!!  Most of you(male and females) hypocrites have played the field but just hadn’t got caught, or in the middle of a capital murder trial where you had to be honest about your wrongdoings. I had a fiance’ who had a deranged other-woman who just didn’t understand.  I have been harassed by phone, almost ran over by car, and also had objects thrown at me in Wal-Mart by this looney-tune.  The other woman, who knows they are the other woman, are dangerous..
